DESIGN
This original design is inspired by old school, funky San José graffiti—the stuff I saw all over this city when I was growing up. It’s also the very first t-shirt design I ever printed by myself! The start of it all & what lit the fuse for many, many prints to follow. Like all Jimmy Paints items, these tees are designed & handprinted with love from my beloved San José printshop / studio, Downtown Screen Printers.
Also important to note—this array of San José love tees is an eclectic one! When you buy one of these gems at the discounted rate, you’re also buying a piece of Jimmy Paints history: each of the one-offs listed here is a little different, some printed on different style tees, some by different manufacturers, some from different eras in my creative process as a designer & printer.
GARMENT + SIZING
100% cotton. Original artwork. Soft-hand print—meaning it’s smooth to the touch & breathable, rather than plastic-y. Pre-washed. Check the photos for available sizes of singleton shirts. I also have one-off men’s tank tops for sale if you’re looking for an alternate fit.
